| Gateway to the Arts Studio Tour 2008 |

| This year's studio tour includes a stop at
"Carved
Stone" on Bell Springs Rd, Wesley
Gallery, Stick Horse Studios, Painted Horse Studio and Sunset
Canyon Pottery.
With the new addition of Ice Moon studio and LonesomeSage
studio!
Some of the participating artists include Catherine Murphy,
Mara Cardwell, Robert Andereson, Jimmy Tolly, Karen Krumm, Jeff
Blendell, Phyllis Rummel and Sue Foss. You can see their work
along with other members as you visit the different galleries
on the tour!
Julie Speirs will be heading up the Studio Tour in 2008.

| "Kids for Kids" - Public Art Project |
| A herd of 12 goats have been purchased for
the artists by local businesses and individuals.
Individual artists will paint or decorate the different goats.
Later the goats will be auctioned to raise funds for various charities
throughout the Dripping Springs area. |

| Harvest of the Arts 2008 |
| "Harvest of the Arts" will be held Saturday,
September 27nd , from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on the grounds at the
Pound House Museum in Dripping Springs, in conjunction with the
annual "Fall Fest."
The Artists of Dripping Springs and artisans from surrounding
counties will sell pottery, sculptures, paintings, custom knifes,
jewelry, woven clothing, metal and wood carved artwork. |
