The mission of the Artists of Dripping Springs is to identify and recognize local practicing artists, to encourage and nurture a culture of creativity, and to promote the artists endeavors of all by increasing community awareness through education, demonstration, and mentoring.

We'd love to have you visit our group.

Our monthly meetings are normally held on the 4th Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. Occasionally our members enjoy a group outing during the weekend. If you're concerned about joining because you can't attend a night meeting, please keep that in mind!

Dripping Springs Studio Tour 2008

Last year we had great participation with our Studio Tour, both from our artists as well as a enthusiastic visitors!

The Tour will start at 10 am. You can start your tour by visiting any gallery listed, but the trail head for the tour is the Wesley Gallery. They will provide extra maps and hand outs to assist you on the tour. They will also have the door prizes on display!


This year we have 13 different door prizes. To be eligible for a door prize, pick up a studio tour map and have the different gallery owners sign your map as your progress through the different stops. After you've visited all 9 galleries, we'll include your signed map in the drawing. Some of our prizes are prints, small sculpture, jewelry, and copper and iron work.

And also remember you'll be seeing some great art as well. Many of our gallery studio artists have a regional following and their work will sell quickly. If you don't see the exact item you are wanting, most artists will take commissions too.

2008 Harvest of the Arts

For our members and other artists who are interested in joining us at the Annual Harvest of the Arts that will happen in Sept, 2008, we invite you to complete the application form.

The event which is held in conjunction with the Pound House Fest Fest, will offer a wide variety of artist participating. We are also planning on having a children's art table for the younger visitors.
